Finance and Billing

The Treasurer's department oversees the finances of the City.  Including; Tax collection, utility billing, accounts payables/receivables and annual budget.

We Accept Credit Cards! Pay your property taxes and water/sewer bills via credit card; either online, in person or by calling (transaction fees apply). 

You also have online access to your utility billing (water/sewer), taxes and property assessments to check payment status, balances, etc.  Plus you can also look up all public information on any property within the City of Boyne City.

ANY payment may be made using

• Cash- in person
• Check- in person, in the mail
  • (Mail to: 319 N. Lake Street, Boyne City, MI 49712)
  • Please write separate checks for each service
  • Debit card (transaction fee applies)- in person, over the phone
• Credit card (transaction fee applies)- in person, over the phone

Online payments may be made for Tax and Utility payments ONLY using

• Debit card (transaction fee applies)
• Credit card (transaction fee applies)

Recurring, automatic payments for utilities ONLY may be set up using

• ACH (Automated Clearing House) utilizing checking account information.
