Public Input Opportunities
The City of Boyne City is currently in the process of updating the five-year Parks and Recreation Plan. The City would like to gather as much information from the community as possible to plan and prioritize projects for the future of the parks and recreation system. An online survey has been developed as an opportunity for the community residents to give their feedback. Click the link to go directly to the survey. The survey will be available through November 17.
The City would also like to get your feedback on two properties as a concurrent planning effort. The lower portion of Avalanche and the Open Space park are going through a preliminary design phase. It is the City’s desire to prepare a design plan for these two properties to sustain a long-term improvement plan. There will be community input sessions available in January and February to gather the public’s comments for the vision of these two projects.
Avalanche / Open Space Plans & Input
The first public input meeting is scheduled for December 5th at City Hall. Discussions for the Open Space will take place from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and Avalanche (base of the hill) from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
