City Boards and Commissions

Do you want to be involved in Boyne City’s decision making process?
Become involved in your community... volunteer as a member for a city board or commission.

Involvement by our citizens is one of the things that help make Boyne City the special place it is.  Currently Boyne City needs people to step up, sit down and serve on several of its Boards and Commissions.  You don’t need to be an expert in an area to serve.  The most important things needed are a passion for your community, an open mind, some extra time and in most cases being a resident.  You bring that and the City will help out with most anything else you need.  If there is not an immediate opening on the board(s) or commission(s) you expressed an interest in, the City will hold onto your application until we have openings on one of the groups you selected.  Applications are available at the City’s website by clicking on this link: (Volunteer Board Member Application) or at the Boyne City Hall.  Come join your neighbors and make a positive difference in this great place we call Boyne City!  Please contact Boyne City Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Puroll at 582.0334 for more information.  You’ll be glad you did!
